Treat airflow and stated test conditions as part of the cooling specification. A compact module cannot deliver its published result if the hot side cannot reject heat into the cabinet airflow.
1. Use the correct product terminology
LL-08B uses thermoelectric cooling, also called Peltier or TEC cooling. “Semiconductor cooling” may be used as a descriptive term. “Superconducting cooling” describes a different physical concept and should not be used for this product.
- Preferred: thermoelectric cooling module
- Accepted: Peltier cooling module or TEC cooling module
- Avoid: superconducting cooling module
2. Understand the supplied thermal path
| Stage | LL-08B component | Integration meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Water side | 0.8 L insulated tank and cold-pipe conduction | Connect the appliance water path to the published ports |
| Heat transfer | Dual 12706 TEC devices | Match the specified DC configuration and appliance control |
| Hot side | Heat-pipe condenser and forced-air fan | Keep fan inlet and outlet unobstructed |
| Sensing | Two B3950 / 10K NTC sensors | Review sensing and appliance control interfaces |
3. Keep performance and conditions together
The published output is greater than 2 L/h of mixed water at 10°C or below, and greater than 3.2 L/h at 15°C or below.
- Ambient temperature: 25°C
- Inlet-water temperature: 25°C
- Rated electrical input
- Fan inlet and outlet unobstructed
- First draw excluded from the hourly result
4. Information needed for an OEM review
- Cabinet drawing and available 165×115×308 mm installation envelope.
- Ambient and inlet-water temperature range.
- Target cold-water temperature and draw volume over time.
- DC 12 V or 24 V arrangement according to the TEC configuration.
- Fan inlet, hot-air outlet and clearance from nearby heat sources.
- Water connection, drain path, mounting holes and service access.
